50s Black Pipe Cleaner People

Made in Japan. Average 6" tall. All are different. Have about 20 of them. Some have more than one figure. All have a black pipe cleaner person on a wood base in an island scene. Very strange. Unsold 1950s stock from defunct Acme Specialty in Northern Ohio.
