LAJ Design today announced the release and immediate availability of
eOrdering Gold version 2.0.1 (was Web Proofs). eOrdering Gold is a cross-platform
application that creates online eCommerce stores allowing photographers
or small businesses to put their products online easily. (Designed
especially for photographers to allow clients to order proofs over
the web).
eOrdering Gold used to be called Web Proofs. The product is tied closer
eOrdering Gold and is the step up from eOrdering Complete. The primary
difference from eOrdering Complete is Gold's multi-cost per product,
but Complete is single cost per product. The decision was made to make
an eOrdering
Family including eOrdering Professional (was Event Proofs) at the top,
eOrdering Gold (Web Proofs) as the midrange, and eOrdering Complete at
the bottom.
Overview
--------
eOrdering Gold allows small businesses, photographers, and artists
to put their products online and take orders online. It was originally
designed
for photographers orders for proofs online and has been since expanded
the larger market of small businesses.

[New] Added option to let you set the html file suffix (so you can have
index.php)

[new] Addend the Preprocess text (so that you can put php or asp before
the first html tag)

[new] Added discounts (which can be set to give discounts based on the
total order cost or quantity)
[new] Added 6 individual cost options that are unique for each product
(so you have 30 common cost options that are shared, and 6 unique)
[new] Added a text option for what to say before spanning links (such
as product 1 - 30)
[fix] Removed the external scripting since it was giving older Netscape
users problems.
[chg] Fixed a bug so that you can now specify a table border of 0 and
all pages show that border.
[chg] You can now have spaces on the currency symbol (so you can have
EUR 2.00 and not EUR2.00)
[fix] Fixed a bug in using the euro.
[fix] Made it so that the processing fee is taxed
[chg] changed the process.php to not depend on register_globals being
turned on (for all the php processing methods)
[chg] tweaked some of the spacing between the cart html buttons and text
[chg] Better Unicode Support

eOrdering Gold is shareware software, and costs US $75 to purchase.
A fully-functional demo version, which expires after 20 days, is available.
eOrdering Gold runs on Windows (95,98,ME,NT,2000, and XP) and Macintosh
(8,9,X).
QuickTime is required if you want to use image types other than JPEG
for products (QuickTime only needed on the computer running eOrdering
Gold).
