LAJ Design today announced the release and immediate availability
of Event
Proofs version 1.2. Event Proofs is cross-platform application that creates
online web-based stores allowing photographers or small businesses to put
their products online easily. (Designed especially for event photographers
to allow clients to order at events).
Overview
--------
Photographers put your proofs online and save your customers
the time of
coming in to viewing proofs (also giving your your time). Event
Photographers shoot in digital and then let your clients order while
they
are at the event. Small businesses put your products online easily.Event
Proofs will create a shopping cart with all of your rolls of film, or
all of your different types of products. You can either let them choose
at
the event or post it later on the web. Currently you can process by ASP
email, PHP email, or PayPal. More processing methods are in the works.

Note the cookie format changed from version 1.1 to 1.2 for future expansion.
eSites made with version 1.1 are not compatible with version 1.2 and will
need to be upgraded if tying multiple eSites together.
Event Proofs is shareware software, and costs US $450 to purchase.
A fully-functional demo version, which expires after 20 days, is available.
Event Proofs runs on Windows (95,98,ME,NT,2000, and XP) and Macintosh
(8,9,X).
QuickTime is required if you want to use image types other than JPEG
for
products (QuickTime only needed on the computer running Event Proofs).
