LAJ Design today announced the release and
immediate availability of eOrdering Professional version 1.8 (was Event
Proofs). eOrdering Professional is a cross-platform application that
creates online eCommerce stores allowing photographers or small businesses
to put their products online easily. (Designed especially for event
photographers to allow clients to order at events).
eOrdering Professional used to be called event Proofs. The product
is tied closer eOrdering Gold and is the step up from eOrdering Gold.
The decision
was made to make an eOrdering Family including eOrdering Professional
(was Event Proofs), eOrdering Gold (Web Proofs), and eOrdering Complete
at the
bottom.
Overview
--------
eOrdering Professional allows small businesses, photographers, and
artists to put their products online and take orders online. It allows
for categories
for making larger eCommerce sites. It is ideal for event photographers
to let customers order their pictures while at the event or let them
order later on the internet.
New or Changes
-------
[new] Added the 'PayPal also' post processing method
The 'PayPal also' method will let you make sites that let the viewer
(client) choose at checkout to use PayPal or to use the normal submit
mode. For
instance when the client gets to the final checkout page at the bottom
is a submit with PayPal button and the regular submit button. To use
the also mode, setup the PayPal processing method and then setup the
other
method and check the 'use PayPal also' box at the bottom.
[new] Added edit process.php to all the PHP processing methods *allowing
you to edit the client email and the html page shown after the order
is submitted.
[new] Added secure email option via PGP or GnuPG to the PHP processing
methods *
[new] Added in processing fee option as a flat fee added to the order.

eOrdering Professional is shareware software, and costs US $450 to
purchase.
A fully-functional demo version, which expires after 20 days, is available.
eOrdering Professional runs on Windows (95,98,ME,NT,2000, and XP) and
Macintosh (8,9,X).
QuickTime is required if you want to use image types other than JPEG
for products (QuickTime only needed on the computer running Event Proofs).
