LAJ Design today announced the release and immediate availability of Web Proofs version 1.5. Web Proofs is cross-platform application that creates online web-based stores allowing photographers or small businesses to put their products online easily. (Designed especially for photographers to allow clients to order from online proofs).

Overview

Photographers put your proofs online and save your customers the time of coming in to viewing proofs (also giving your your time). Small businesses put your products online easily.Web Proofs will create a shopping cart with proofs, or for any kind of product that has more than one buying option. You just load your products or proofs, enter costs and description and Web Proofs does the rest. It make the html pages, thumbnail, and full size images, shopping cart code and the server side code to process orders. Currently you can process by ASP email, PHP email, PHP print, or PayPal. More processing methods are in the works.

New shopping cart allows for smaller html pages. You can now order from the individual product page. Includes view cart page, shipping page and checkout page. You can now tie multiple eSites together (add an item to cart and it shows up in cart of other eSites on that web server).Web Proofs is shareware software, and costs US $75 to purchase.

A fully-functional demo version, which expires after 20 days, is available.

Web Proofs runs on Windows (95,98,ME,NT,2000, and XP) and Macintosh (8,9,X).

QuickTime is required if you want to use image types other than JPEG for products (QuickTime only needed on the computer running Web Proofs).
